This was a week for bad
news.
Internationally, the
Muslims still want to destroy Israel and America. The Germans said that America has now lost
its status as an economic superpower.
Iran is developing nuclear weapons, and their leader seems a little less
sane than Adolf Hitler. And Russia is
talking nuclear weapons with mad dictator Chavez of Venezuela.
Right when it seemed that
John McCain had taken the national stage by adding Sarah Palin
to his ticket, the financial crisis pushed her right back off the front page.
So many big financial institutions
have failed now that I can’t remember them all. More are on the way down right now, and
Congress is trying to pass President Bush’s $700 billion bailout, which most
people don’t want and the country can’t afford. In an emergency speech, President Bush used
the word panic, and said that the whole economy is in danger of going down. He is probably the first president to make
such a public statement.
The Fed is printing
enormous amounts of money and trying to get it to flow. But it’s not flowing. Nobody wants to give anybody credit. Banks won’t lend to
one another, because they don’t know which ones are going down the drain. The element of trust is gone.
John McCain and Barack
Hussein Obama held a debate this week, where they discussed these things. But the most
important issue of all gets little discussion.
Already in Colorado men can go into women’s restrooms. In California
homosexuality is being taught in the public schools. More and more big name stars are saying they
are homosexual or lesbian. It is now
cool for stars to be queer.
Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan is discussing her lesbian love for a lady dj. Lohan has been in
repeated crises in her life, being out of control with substance abuse. She has had multiple run-ins with the
law. She called in to a radio show to
admit the relationship and the radio host congratulated her, and told her he
hoped they stayed together.
American Idol star Clay
Aiken just had a baby in August with a lady friend. Now that’s
something. ‘Hey, we’re friends – let’s
have a baby! Won’t
that be cool? Like getting a new outfit
or learning a new dance.’
Now Aiken announces that
he is a homosexual.
An article in Access
Hollywood says:
“As for the rest of the world, Clay says coming out
to his own family has given him hope that the world is moving to a more
accepting place when it comes to people's sexuality.
“I looked at people like my brother and his
friends, who are really the stereotypical tough guy Marines, who all know
[about my sexuality], and none of them care," Clay told Diane [Sawyer on
Good Morning America]. "It's taken a while for me
to have faith in society to accept the fact that people are more accepting and
more open-minded and more loving and caring and less interested in your
personal life than I initially thought.””
And a long time Christian singer did the same thing.
From the One News Now web
site article:
“There is shock and sadness in the Christian
community over word that famed Christian music singer Ray Boltz
has publicly announced he’s living a homosexual lifestyle.
“If this is the way God made me, then this is the
way I’m going to live...I really feel closer to God because I no longer hate
myself.” Those were the words of Ray Boltz in an interview with the Washington Blade about his
decision to engage in homosexuality. Boltz, a father of four who was married for 33 years before
officially divorcing his wife this year, is well-known
for his widely acclaimed songs Thank You and I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb.
The disclosure by Boltz
was stunning news to former homosexual Greg Quinlan...
“I’m absolutely shocked. I've got some of his CDs and cassette tapes
–- tells you how long it's been around. When he says he's born that way, we know now for a fact that that's
false. In fact, just last year in March,
the director of the Human Genome Project, Dr. Francis Collins, said this:
homosexuality is not hardwired. There is no gay gene. We mapped the human genome. We
now know there is no genetic cause for homosexuality.”
When asked about Boltz's
homosexuality, The Gospel Music Association -- the group
which gives out the Dove Awards -- told the Blade, "We do not
comment on the lifestyle choices of people in our community."
According to Quinlan, by making such a statement
the GMA seems to be “enabling a behavior that is totally inconsistent,
incongruent with the message of the gospel.””
Once you leave the law of
God and go by feelings, there is no sin.
Everything is OK if you feel OK about it. God is then not real but ephemeral.
Going by feelings instead
of God’s law makes the person God. God doesn’t determine right and wrong. Each person does, by his feelings.
Satan is really going full
bore to turn America into Sodom. Things
are changing so fast it’s truly hard to believe.
This is the biggest factor
in America’s future. If America turns to
Sodom, it doesn’t have a future.
The most important issue
in this election is homosexuality. It is
being forced on the country, most of the country doesn’t
want it, but that is the one issue which will be discussed least in the
debates.
Homosexuality is also the
most important issue in the schools. It
is now filling the schools and will be absorbed by the
students in the teachings and in the culture.
I mean, if even Christian singers are gay, it can’t
be bad, right?
Also
from One News Now:
“A new study in the United Kingdom has revealed
that homosexuals are about 50% more likely to suffer from depression and engage
in substance abuse…
After analyzing 25 earlier studies on sexual
orientation and mental health, researchers … also found that the risk of
suicide jumped over 200% if an individual had engaged in a homosexual
lifestyle.
These findings strongly support the results of
similar studies conducted in the United States, which have unveiled the severe
physical and psychological health risks associated with homosexual
behavior. …[R]esearch
shows that the lifespan of a homosexual is on average 24 years shorter than
that of a heterosexual. As a health
threat, even smoking pales in comparison, as studies show smoking can shorten
one's life by only 1 to 7 years on average.
While the … article suggested that homosexuals may be pushed to substance abuse and suicide because of
anti-homosexual cultural and family pressures, empirical tests have shown that
there is no difference in homosexual health risk depending on the level of
tolerance in a particular environment. Homosexuals in the United States and Denmark -
the latter of which is acknowledged to be highly
tolerant of homosexuality - both die on average in their early 50's, or in
their 40's if AIDS is the cause of death.
The average age of death for all residents in either country ranges from
the mid-to-upper 70’s.”
Isn’t that a life?
Spend your life depressed
and suicidal, and then die 30 years early.
Isn’t it also crazy that
liberals will worry about not wearing fur, and yet will force homosexuality on the whole society, which takes a third of a
person’s life?
The prime means the
godless left is using to teach homosexuality to young people are the media and
the public schools, where the media sets the culture. As the liberals gain more power, as they
almost surely will in this election, that pressure to accept sodomy will
increase. The last thing a Christian parent
should do is let his child absorb this filthy media, and the last place in the
world a Christian parent should put his kid is in the public schools.
Christian
homeschooling -- now more than ever.
