Listen to this article.

McDonald’s burgers are now facing a boycott.  The Big Mac is under attack.  The world’s best fries may get fried.

The American Family Association has called for a boycott of McDonald’s, because McDonald’s is directly helping promote homosexuality and homo-marriage.

This is a notable event, because it shows the deep dedication that McDonald’s has to sodomy.

AFA is very slow to call a boycott.  We have wished that they would call for a boycott of the public schools for teaching and promoting homosexuality, but they have not come close to doing that.  I think it was Thanksgiving before last they threatened to call for a one day boycott of Wal-Mart, because Wal-Mart had begun to do what McDonald’s is doing.  Wal-Mart changed course and there was no boycott.

Some years ago AFA called for a boycott of Disney.  Their chief executive officer at that time was Michael Eisner, and he strongly led them in a perverse direction.  That boycott lasted for several years, I believe, until finally Disney got rid of Eisner and changed direction somewhat.  The boycott was ended, although Disneyworld still has a big homosexual event in their park.

More recently AFA called for a boycott of Ford Motor Company because of their strong commitment to promoting homosexuality.  Ford’s sales consequently suffered a steady, large decline, but it was difficult to tell how much of that was due to the boycott and how much due to just plain stupidity on Ford’s part.  Ford changed course somewhat and the boycott was ended.

McDonald's sponsored the 2007 San Francisco Gay Pride parade with a television commercial.  In the ad, a McDonald's official brags that it is “a company that actively demonstrates its commitment to the gay and lesbian community.”  McDonald's also financially supported the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.  They made Mickey D, as McDonald’s is known from its MCD stock symbol, a member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber, and granted them a position on the group's board of directors.

Consequently, AFA contacted McDonald’s and asked them not to be involved in promoting homosexuality and homo-marriage.  They did not ask them to be pro-Christian.  They merely requested that Mickey D not be involved in promoting homo-marriage.  They asked them just to be neutral.   Just sell hamburgers, not homosexuality.

In light of the boycotts against Disney and Ford, when AFA asked McDonald’s to be neutral in the war against Christianity, McDonald’s knew what they were facing.  But they refused to be neutral.  In remarks on McDonald's Web site about the company becoming a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, CEO Jim Skinner wrote: “Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are.  We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world … and we do.”

Even if they had to face a boycott, McDonald’s was gung ho for gay marriage.

So AFA called for people who don’t want to support homo-marriage not to support McDonald’s.

In response to that, a McDonald’s spokesman, in a Washington Post article, suggested that people who don’t support McDonald’s promotion of homo-marriage are motivated by hate.

Commenting on that, AFA said, “Throwing out any pretense of being neutral in the culture war, McDonald's has taken up the rhetoric of gay activists, suggesting those who oppose same-sex marriage are motivated by hate.”

AFA head Don Wildmon stated, “They've said for years and years that if you oppose their lifestyle, then you are a hateful person.  We've given McDonald's ample opportunity to stop supporting the homosexual agenda.  They have said in no uncertain terms that they are going to go on supporting the homosexual groups and helping the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce go before Congress and lobby for a national right to marry.”

Wildmon adds that most people are unaware of McDonald's cooperation with homosexual activist groups.  He said, “All they see is Ronald McDonald and the kids playing.  We're asking people to tell your neighbors about it.  Call your local McDonald's restaurant, be kind and polite -- you don't have to be ugly at all -- and let the manager know:  hey, I'm not coming back until McDonald's stops supporting the homosexual agenda.”

McDonald’s dedication to this cause is incredibly deep and intense.  I thought they were in business just to sell hamburgers and make a profit for the owners.  No way!  They’re out to change America into an anti-Christian nation.  Hang the hamburgers!

A few years ago McDonald’s was in trouble.  They had gotten away from selling burgers and fries at a low price.  They were losing market share and same store sales were sick.  Then the present CEO took over.  He started out as an employee at a local restaurant, and worked his way up to head of the company.  He got them back to their basics, selling a lot of low priced food.

Now he has taken them beyond selling hamburgers to selling homosexuality.  After turning the company around, he is willing to lose sales for sodomy.

The economy is anemic right now.  It’s not a good time for any business to be facing extra sales losses.  Plus there is a price war going on among the fast food restaurants.  For some time MickeyD has been selling a double cheeseburger for a dollar.  The McDonald’s franchise owners have been complaining that they’re not making any money on that burger.  Now Wendy’s and Burger King have a double cheese burger for a dollar, and Taco Bell has just put in a whole new menu of less than a dollar items.  McDonald’s owners have just spent about a hundred thousand dollars per restaurant putting in fancy coffee machines to compete with Starbucks, and now they are going to be losing the business of countless families over homo-marriage.

Is that a smart way to run a business?

Is that a smart way to ruin a business?

Ultimately these boycotts don’t do a lot of good.  There has been a running debate between some of the leaders of the Christian media in the US.  Some say that political and economic moves do no good unless the hearts of the people are changed.  That is certainly true.  Moreover a large majority of the Standard and Poor’s list of America’s 500 largest companies have homosexual promotion programs in place in their corporations.  We can’t boycott them all.  Indeed it might be that Wendy’s, Burger King, Taco Bell and the lot might choose to join McDonald’s in their push for homo-marriage and put up a united front.

On the other hand, when I hear of a company which purposely sticks a spear in the side of the Savior of mankind – which considers it their duty to be anti-Christian -- I do not hunger for their fare.  If a company is selling hamburgers and homosexuality, their menu makes me gag.

McDonald’s has now chosen to position itself as a homo hangout, in those it serves and employs.  People who break the seventh commandment against adultery suffer the plagues of Egypt, as Moses told Israel in Deuteronomy.  Whether heterosexuals or homosexuals, if they are promiscuous, they catch and carry terrible contagious diseases, such as AIDS, herpes  and then TB.

From kidshealth.org:

“When someone with untreated TB coughs or sneezes, the air is filled with droplets containing the bacteria.  Inhaling these infected droplets is the usual way a person gets TB.

One of the most dreaded diseases of the 19th century, TB was the eighth leading cause of death in children 1 to 4 years of age during the 1920s.  As the general standard of living and medical care improved in the United States, the incidence of TB decreased.  By the 1960s, it wasn't even in the top 10 causes of death among children of any age group.

But TB is making a comeback in the United States today — particularly among the homeless, those in prison, and those rendered susceptible because of HIV infection.”

A boycott does not change the heart of a nation.  But if McDonald’s chooses to sell homoburgers, I will not go there, except to pee.

How in the world did we get to the place in this country that the most familiar hamburger chain thinks it has to promote homo-marriage just to be socially responsible?

More than anything else, we got here because of the schools.  When the schools teach that God isn’t and His law ain’t, the whole nation thinks that evil is good and good is evil.
